AI workshop. Choosing the right hands-on session for your teams

AI workshop. Choosing the right hands-on session for your teams

A hands-on workshop remains the best entry point to use AI daily. The AI workshop is a practical session to acquire the skills needed to use AI in daily work, on the tools your teams already use or are about to adopt.

On the agenda, demonstrations, examples lived in companies and practical exercises performed during the session.

Four types of workshops, four goals

Getting started

Discovery and first steps with an AI tool. The goal is simple, every participant should be able to use the tool alone by the end of the session.

Specialization

Deepening on a specific tool or use case. This format suits teams that already have the basics and want to progress on a business usage.

Agent building

Building an AI assistant for a business area. Participants build an agent adapted to their job and take back control of it once the session is over.

Copilot Studio

Discovery and building of Microsoft agents, for organizations committed to the Copilot 365 ecosystem.

The tools covered

Workshops adapt to one or several tools depending on your need. The coverage is broad, ChatGPT, Gemini Pro, Mistral, Copilot 365, Copilot Studio, Dust, Cursor, Seelab, Lovable, Weavy and Perplexity. Every course comes with demonstrations, examples lived in companies and practical exercises performed during the session.

The advice stays the same in every case. An in-depth workshop on one tool your teams really use beats a flyover of six platforms.

The running order of a hands-on workshop

A typical workshop follows eight proven steps.

  • Quick introduction to generative AI then focus on the chosen AI tool
  • Demonstrations with that AI tool related to the jobs in the room
  • Setting up the workshop, material and groups
  • Beginner exercises
  • Varied exercises at different levels
  • As a bonus for the most advanced, a challenge on a free application of the tool
  • Workshop debrief
  • Feedback collection

The progression from simple exercise to open challenge keeps every level engaged. Beginners consolidate their first steps while the most advanced test the limits of the tool.

Three session formats

Durations start at 3 hours. Three formats are available. The Lunch & Learn, short and light, ideal for a first team discovery. The Bootcamp, intensive, to build skills fast. The training plan, structured over time, when the stake is the collective adoption of the whole organization. For the latter, a tailored AI training plan takes over.

What it looks like in companies

Three contexts illustrate the variety of audiences.

  • An initiation to generative AI for creative jobs, scriptwriters, graphic designers and art directors
  • A training deployment in under a year, across France, for operations staff working on educational content creation
  • Lunch & Learn sessions to introduce Copilot 365 to managers from different jobs, marketing, finance and innovation

Qualiopi certification

Workshops are Qualiopi-certified trainings, eligible for OPCO funding. The choice of tool and format starts from the business use cases to cover first.
